State Functional Classification Review Board hearing, between the Iowa
Department of Transportation (transferring jurisdiction) and Henry County
(receiving jurisdiction) transferred Unsigned Iowa 976 from the north
corporation line of the City of Mount Pleasant northerly and northeasterly to
US 218 approximately 1200 feet north of the S ¼ Corner NE ¼ Section 28‑T72N‑R6W
to county jurisdiction on April 6, 1981.

It
is recommended the commission approve deleting the present description of Unsigned

Whereas: At the present time there is duplication of
primary route numbers among the unsigned routes and
Whereas: this duplication has resulted in problems of
record keeping and assignment of project numbers and
Whereas: the proposed route number changes will
provide improved record keeping procedures in inventory and assignment of
project numbers:

date of these changes be upon adoption of this resolution.
